I am so proud of being part of Mrs Brooker's school. After hearing past head boys & girls, as well as friends of Mrs Brooker talk about how much she enriched their lives, it has made me realise how lucky I was to be apart of #TeamWalsham. Thank you Mrs Brooker for recommending the book "Birdsong" to me, ever since reading it is has become my favourite book. And thank you again, for giving me the support I needed at school with my anxiety. Straight after the memorial, I went up to Rachel Brooker and said "I'm sorry" and she replied with telling me thats it's okay, and hugged me. Those encouraging words filled with emotion would have been the response I would've gotten from Mrs Brooker, and it was those words that I needed to hear. Thank you Rachel.

If I have one thing to say on reflection of my time at North Walsham High School it is that the place had soul. Caroline was a real driving force in that. She cared a great deal for her students and staff and it was clear that her personal battle made her all the more determined to encourage them all to be the best that they could be. She will be sadly missed.
